HELENA advances halide-based solid-state batteries from materials to pouch-cell manufacturing

The European HELENA project has established and validated a complete laboratory-to-pouch-cell processing chain for halide-based solid-state batteries, achieving high-loading cathodes, thin solid-electrolyte separators and 40 mAh monolayer pouch cells as a key step towards larger 1–5 Ah multilayer cells.
